Northern Uganda currently plays host to over 1 million refugees from Southern Sudan. Uganda has one of the most enlightened refugee policies in the world welcoming everyone without limit and making land available for them to live and grow food as many will have to remain years before it is safe to return home. Nevertheless as the crisis develops there is a growing unmet need for clean water, counselling, homes, education, health care and food.
