Meeting Agenda M.E.C.A. Relay for Life Volunteer Ideas

M.E.C.A Introduction of MECA (Music & Entertainment Career Association)   Student organization geared towards students in all majors who want to learn about music artists, and artists' management. Created to expose students of all majors to all facets of the music and entertainment business while developing future leaders in the industry. Bi-weekly meetings with guest speakers from all music genres and who hold various positions in the music-related industry (radio personalities, promoters, managers, songwriters, A&R representatives, etc). The Executive Board would like to invite everyone to come celebrate our presence on campus. We will be having a kick-off celebration on Tuesday, February 24th from 6:30pm-9pm in Room 132 in Hubbard. What is Relay For Life? It’s a 24 hour event In which you walk around a track To raise money for the American Cancer Society, which fights to find a cure for cancer Cancer is Bad!

When? Where? April 17-18 (3pm-3pm) At the Ralph Young Track Complex (its most likely the only track complex you think of when it comes to track complexes at MSU)

Why? How? Because Cancer is still considered bad so lets raise some money to fight it. It will be fun/ Good exercise And at the very lest, you get to hang out with me (Brett, the person talking not the PowerPoint presentation) As for the how… http://www.relayforlife.org/relay/
