Improving Community Project Open Space And Recreation By: Chrissy Singleton, Brian Philibert, Chris Cole, Steven Brown

Goal 1 Build parks recreational facilities where there are lots of people.

Goal 2 Create more open space areas parks, trails ,etc…

Objective 1.9 Research all the open space areas where parks, trails and other recreational facilities should be located .For example, near a school, pond, lake or neighborhood that is well populated.

Objective 2.0 Have well educated park staff that can clean and manage the parks and other facilities on a regular basis.

Objective 2.1 Keep the kids and people that come to our parks safe from any wild life or poisonous plants . Also make sure that all equipment put into our parks/playgrounds are safe and sturdy for kids to play on.

Our Plan One of our goals was to create a comprehensive network of recreational facilities that are conveniently located to population centers. Populated areas of Coventry for lots of usage. By doing this we want to give the residents recreational facilities through appreciation of the already beautiful natural settings of coventry.

Our idea To create a chain of recreational facilities throughout Coventry by taking advantage of our natural and rural resources such as farms, and forests.

The Place

Summary So basically what we are trying to do is better the town of Coventry by giving the residents and children places to go where the residents can easily get to a park, boat launch, playing field, with out the hassle of driving ten minutes to play a little baseball.

Thank you We appreciate your time to sit and listen to us. Thank You
