Week 6: Describe the life cycle of a plant using voices. START Top Class 5: A musical journey exploring The Enormous Turnip. Key skills: listening, performing and composing Week 1: Think about gardening activities and create a simple song with actions using a tune you already know. Week 2: Explore patterns of long and short sounds. Play patterns using objects or characters from the story. Week 4: Sing songs about fruit, describe fruit and create fruit word patterns to say and play. Week 5: Listen to a piece of music and describe it. Move to music showing how a flower grows. Week 3: Talk about what the old man is like and create a piece of music about him. Week 6: Describe the life cycle of a plant using voices. Week 7: Describe the life cycle of a plant using instruments. WELL DONE – you have reached the journey’s end! FINISH
