REMEMBER THESE TIPS GOALIES--   REMEMBER THESE TIPS GOALIES--  ---YOU should be checking your email and the GOAL website frequently ---YOU must tell your teachers about your plans to participate in a GOAL IO one week in advance ---YOU should submit IO permission forms to the GOAL Office.

Pittsburgh Glass Center 35 students are registered for this unique experience! Please note the DATE CHANGE! We will be going to this on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 6th

MOCK TRIAL   Join us as an attorney or witness and be a part of the MOCK TRIAL in January at Duquesne Law School.    Our case this year will be available in on November 2nd.  We are doing the 2014 case which has not yet been released by PABAR.org  We have 5 one-hour meetings after school to prepare your team for the trial. 

How do you join the MOCK TRIAL TEAM?   Complete an application and submit it to the GOAL Office ASAP.  There will be 24 spots for lawyers and witnesses.   The case and the application form will be available on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in front of the GOAL office.  Read the case and all the directions.  Submit your application ASAP to get one of the 24 spots! Our first meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 18th from 2:30 -3:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.

MEDICAL EXPLORERS This program sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine provides participants with experiences and information about careers in medicine and reviews various topics for discussion and study. A registration fee of $15 is required and that is the only cost. The lecture series has already started by you can still attend the remaining presentations. If you would like to take advantage of this rich community offering, please pick up a packet outside the GOAL office which gives more details. All lectures are at Pitt SCAIFE HALL on Terrace Street. These are on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 -7:30 p.m.

2014-2015 NAI Science Bowl Team NAI GOAL students who are interested in becoming a member of the 2014-2015 NAI Science Bowl Team will be required to take a qualifying exam. Any student who would like to take the Science Bowl exam should sign up in the GOAL office. The test will be administered in the NAI GOAL office on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. You may take the exam during homeroom or your lunch period. Please bring a number 2 pencil. Science Bowl takes place on Feb 21, 2015
