Review letters with your child to help them recognize them. Reading- Building oral vocabulary and listening comprehension skills. Focusing on making predictions, identifying rhyming words and counting syllables. Sight-Words- the, can, and I. Please practice these sight words with your child each night. Writing- Identify and segment/count words in print. Developing fine motor skills- trace slant/curve/vertical/horizontal lines. Math- Identify numbers 1-5. Counting, one-to-one correspondence. Identifying, read, and write numbers. Weekly Color- Orange Important Events September 13 Fieldtrip to the Fair. School starts at 8:40 this day. Important Reminders Please make sure your child brings their folder back each day. Also check their folder daily for important information. Homework Tuesday – Letter practice page Wednesday – Number Practice Sheet/ Sight Word Book Thursday – Language Arts Read 15 minutes with your child each night!! Please make return homework daily.
