Opening Journal Turn to page 11 in your student handbook. Last lesson, we had the chance to learn about the different types of postsecondary education that are available to you. We also completed pages 7 and 8. These pages helped us understand how postsecondary education can affect the amount of money you will make.

Holland Codes R-Realistic Theme: “R” theme people usually have good physical skills, but sometimes have trouble expressing themselves in words or in communicating their feelings to others.

Holland Codes I-Investigative Theme: “I” theme people tend to center around science and scientific activities.

Holland Codes A-Artistic Theme: “A” theme people like to work in artistic settings where there are many opportunities for self-expression.

Holland Codes S-Social Theme: “S” types are sociable, responsible, humanistic, and concerned with the welfare of others.

Holland Codes E-Enterprising Theme: “E” are great with using their words and can be persuasive.

Holland Codes C-Conventional Theme: “C” type prefer the highly ordered activities (both verbal and numerical) that characterize office work.
