Step 1: Choose a Culture that interests you

Step 3: Use this culture as inspiration

Create a sketch based on form and style from the culture you have chosen

Minimum Requirements Must research another culture and its pottery This is not simply a replica, it should have your own artistic voice, as well Must create a power point on this culture and its pottery that you will present to the class

OPTION A: Must create a set of 2 bowls inspired by the culture you have chosen Must attach feet and handles to bowls May use any method of construction discussed in class

OPTION B: Must create a set of 3 nesting bowls (bowls that stack inside each other) inspired by the culture you have chosen May attach feet and handles to bowls (optional) May use any method of construction discussed in class

OPTION C: Must create a set of 4 bowls Must attach feet and/or handles May create nesting bowls (optional) May use any method of construction discussed in class
