Butler County Middle School Action Plan Concerns: Not meeting AMO and Reducing % of Novice and Apprentice Action(s) All students have 2 Math classes each day. All students have a Reading and a Writing class each day. Introducing the Citelighter program which will assist with the Writing process, grading writing assignments, and allow teachers to gather writing data. Upgrading and adding to technology with Moby tablets and Chromebooks. All grade levels have a full Chrome lab available. Teachers are collaborating across content levels and grade levels in scheduled monthly PLC meetings to discuss and share student work, formative and summative assessment information, positive behavior interventions, lesson planning and program reviews. Teachers are working to format classroom assessments to be more like the K-PREP assessment. Teachers continue to participate in GRREC literacy coaching initiative. Implementing a school-wide student mentoring program to assist with our Novice Reduction Rate
