What is Orbital Motion? Orbital Motion is the motion of one object in space around another object. The orbits are governed by Johannes Kepler's Laws of orbital Motion. Johannes Kepler, working with data painstakingly collected by Tycho Brahe without the aid of a telescope, developed three laws which described the motion of the planets across the sky.

The Law of Orbits: All planets move in elliptical orbits, with the sun at one focus.

The Law of Areas: A line that connects a planet to the sun sweeps out equal areas in equal times.

The Law of Periods: The square of the period of any planet is proportional to the cube of the semi-major axis of its orbit.

Write out the steps that your group will follow in detail here. You must Have at least 5 trials. Write out the steps that your group will follow in detail here. Create a table to organize your Data Here.

After completing your Experiment you are to create a graph showing Orbital period VS Semi-Major Axis Length. Be sure your Graph has the following; Labeled Axis's Accurately graphed Data. A Title.

Finally, Answer each of the Conclusion questions in a complete sentence.
