Survey Your TRAITS

Question: Are dominant traits more common than recessive traits? Hypothesis: If we survey many people for dominant and recessive traits, then the traits (dominant or recessive) will be more common.

Pedigree Use the chart to survey at least 5 family members. Ask each person which trait they have – either dominant or recessive phenotype (physical characteristic). Count the total number of dominant and recessive traits. Bring chart to class to discuss as a team project.
