Design Guidelines for Transit Supportive Communities Foster reliable, efficient, convenient, and accessible transit, from your front door to the bus by incorporating public transportation features in suburban developments. Developers can work directly with Pace to accommodate characteristics of transit-supportive development that enhance the vibrancy of the development and improve access to adjacent communities within the region. Pace offers complimentary in-house technical reviews by Pace’s Transportation Engineer

Relocation Assistance Assist municipalities, companies, and real estate agents in the site selection process. Help employers determine possible locations based on transit access. Employee Zip Code Analysis After a site is selected, Pace conducts on- site educational programs for employees to learn about transit options to their future site. Pace has assisted many local employers including: Capital One, ITW, Verizon, United Airlines, Motorola, Kraft-Heinz, Magid, Zurich, Fresh Express, LSG Sky Chefs, Topco, FAA

Employee Origin Mapping Free employee origin mapping to identify employee clusters for transit planning and rideshare/vanpool matching Transit access for employees is a consideration during site selection Helps employees form rideshare groups Helps employers plan work shifts Helps Pace evaluate service demand and identify appropriate service options Employee Origins

Pace Vanpool Program Traditional Vanpool Metra Feeder Vanpool Vans are available to groups of 5-14 individuals who live in close proximity and have similar schedules. For a low monthly fare, Pace includes: The Van Fuel Maintenance Insurance Tolls Roadside Assistance Van Washes Discover, Allstate, Sears, FAA, Central Grocers, Tempel Steel, United Airlines, Underwriters Laboratories, Motorola, Aon, Abbott Laboratories, GATX Rail, Kraft-Heinz, VA North Chicago, Magid Metra Feeder Vanpool Pace vans can park at a Metra station near a work site, so that the 5-13 participants can take the train and then use the van to complete the commute.

PaceRideShare.com Pace offers a website-based application to form a new carpool or vanpool, or join one that already exists. Users can set up a free profile to find commuters with similar travel patterns. There’s access to free calculators showing money saved and environmental benefits of ridesharing. 847-5-WE-POOL
