Leding EDGE vs. Teaching EDGE Leding EDGE is used by a leader for makeing a group that effectively uses the leader to mov on through challenges. Teaching EDGE is used by leaders but to help a group learn skills. Leding EDGE vs. Teaching EDGE

What is EDGE The Teaching EDGE is a tool Techers Parents Cooches/ Team leaders It allows a skill to be taught effectively. What is EDGE

Purpose of Teaching EDGE The teaching EDGE is a tool that you can use as a guide to teaching younger scouts. It’s set up in a certain way that allows the skill to be taught effectively Purpose of Teaching EDGE

Demonstrate the skill. Ensure that your audience can see and hear you clearly. Give your demonstration at a slow pace so that each step is clearly demonstrated. Demonstrate

Evaluate the effort. Encourage the learners to keep trying until they master the skill. Then you have enabled them to go off and use the skill when appropriate. Enable
