Make a “T” Chart Left side = “Big Ideas” Right = “Details/Textual Evidence” Restate the question (at the top). Put the question in your own word though. Big Ideas Details/Evidence Generalizations (Details taken directly from the text.) [Might be considered plagiarism if put directly into a paragraph without quotation marks.] Notice that in restating the question we use a synonym of describe from “Bloom’s Taxonomy.” What goes on each side?
