The Story of a Blue Bird By Tomek Bogacki

Meet Author and Illustrator: Tomek Bogacki Tomek Bogacki was born on April 1, 1950, in Poland. When he was young he liked to sit alone in his room and write stories, read books, and draw pictures. He says he never wears suits and ties. He likes to ride his bike and listen to music. Tomek Bogacki has illustrated many books, and he has also made many movies. "I draw all the time, and have for as long as I can remember."

Genre –Fiction In fiction for children, animals sometimes act like people. Look for: Ways the a birds in the story act like people. Ways the birds are like real birds. Story Summary:  A young bird explores the world outside his nest.
