Human Resources for Health Assessment Tool for Students Human Resources for Health A complex, transversal and global health problem

What is Social Accountability “The obligation of a medical school to direct their education, research and service activities towards addressing the priority health concerns of the community, region, and/or nation they have a mandate to serve. The priority health concerns are to be identified jointly by governments, health care organizations, health professionals and the public.” - WHO 1995

Why assessment To identify in which areas your school has a strong foundation in social accountability, and in which there is area for improvement

Is my school socially accountable?

Why students? You have unique insight in many areas of your school faculty members do not as you directly participate in medical education. The outcomes of your medical education will directly influence your future as well. To develop leadership skills and a broader view of the role of students/health professionals

Why students?
