Keeping Valuables Safe Passports and airline tickets must be safeguarded at all times. Students must carry all their valuables including spending money, bank cards, travelers cheques and credit cards. Students must purchase a sturdy travel money belt.

1 Euro = 1.34 Canadian Dollars Currency Conversion 1 Euro = 1.34 Canadian Dollars 1.00 CAD = 0.74 EUR Money Options Cash Bank Card Credit Card Travelers Cheques

How much spending money should the students bring? 9 days of travelling: 2 EUR per traveller per day for bus driver 3 EUR per traveller per day for our tour director 15 EURO per day for food Totals: 20 EUR per day (31 CAD) Totals 180 EUR or $278 CAD The total per day is a suggested minimum for essential expenses.

Bank Card Cirrus and Plus systems work for Greek bank machines. Ex: Royal Bank charges $5.00 (outside North America) plus $1.00 account debit fee if applicable

Travelers Cheques Travelers Cheques are not the most economical way to bring money but are safe. American Express Travelers Cheques are recommended because they have Fee-Free partners in many parts of Greece.

Behavior Students are expected to adhere to the guidelines and code of conduct as outlined by the school and the group leaders. Any undisciplined behavior or breaking of the rules will meet with punishment. Parents will be informed immediately of any negative incidents involving their son.

Contact In the event that all parents need to be informed of some important news, we will establish a telephone chain chart that each family will have a copy of prior to departure. Parents can also check the EF Tours website daily to chart our progress and view group pictures. Please fill out the “Parent Information Form”. Indicate if you would like regular trip updates from Mr. Ketterling.

Documents Please make two photocopies of your passport. Keep one and give one to Mr. Ketterling. Do the same for your insurance information.
