What is Osmosis? Osmosis is a form of passive transport (no extra energy needs to be used) where water molecules move down their concentration gradient.
PASSIVE TRANSPORT One way cells maintain homeostasis is by controlling the movement of substances across their cell membrane. Cells want to reach “equilibrium”.

Reverse Osmosis Water or Tap Water? 09/29/2018

What is RO Reverse osmosis is a water purification technology that uses a semipermeable membrane to remove ions, molecules, and larger particles from water. In reverse osmosis, an applied pressure is used to overcome osmotic pressure. The result is that the particles are retained on the pressurized side of the membrane and the pure water is allowed to pass to the other side.

How do I determine my water quality? You can check your incoming water for either hardness or conductivity. Contact your local water company. Generally they keep records on the water quality and can provide you with a history of what is supplied.

Is your water consistent? Do I need RO Is your water hard? Hard water can leave deposits that can block spray bars or Turbo dampeners Is your water consistent? In some areas incoming tap water can vary from day to day and or season to season.
