Social Studies Olympiad

What is it? Fun and educational state-wide competition for students in grades 3 through 12 There are both off-site events that do not require travel to the actual Olympiad site (mail-in submissions), as well as a variety of on-site events The Handbook has descriptions and guidelines of each event Visit https://mcssmi.org/Social-Studies-Olympiad for specific information

Fire and Ice Festival Point Opportunity Volunteers needed for the Fire & Ice Festival in downtown Rochester the weekend of January 22nd – 24th. Please see Mr. Z after the meeting if interested. The current open shifts are: Saturday January 23 12pm – 3pm : 13 volunteers 2:30pm – 5:30pm: 15 volunteers 5pm – 8:30pm : 8 volunteers Sunday January 24 9:30am – 12:30pm : 15 volunteers 12pm – 3pm: 16 volunteers 2:30pm – 5:30pm : 19 volunteers 10:30am – 1:30pm: 3 volunteers for the dog sled area
