Love your neighbour.

John 6:30-35 30 Therefore they said to Him, “What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do? 31 Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’”[d] 32 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34 Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.” 35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

I AM.. Greek, normally “ego” would be used to say “I AM”, “eimi” also means “I AM” Ex 3:14: “I Am who I am”, “ego, eimi”,

John 4 to the Samaritan Woman John 4:13-14: “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

John 7:37-39 And then on the last and greatest day of the Feast of Tabernacles, Jesus -stood and said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.” By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive.

How do we respond? Come to Jesus, in humility, in surrender. Believe. wait with expectation for the quickening of the Holy Spirit.

Love your neighbour.
