What are conic sections? Conic Sections – cross section of a cone, or the intersection of a plane with a right circular cone. When this happens, four sections are found: Circle Ellipse Hyperbola parabola

Circles Definition: the set of all points in the plane that are equidistant from a given point in the plane called the center the distance from the center to any point on the circle is called the radius

Equations of Circles Standard Form: General Form: (h,k) is the center r is the radius General Form:
