Poverty By Faith Zalm

Poverty is the state of being extremely poor 3rd world countries or countries that are victims of war and conflict Causes starvation and child labour No access to food or clean water No education as there are no schools and it’s unaffordable

People live on the dumpsite Main source of survival Look for essential things in the garbage Trade different types of metal for money Dangerous conditions and unhygienic Infested with pests

Many people are homeless Can’t afford to live in a house or pay rent We are a white country with a black history. The indigenous Australian’s were treated unfairly and didn’t have the same rights as us Only because they had different coloured skin.

“Poverty isn’t natural, it’s man-made.” Nelson Mandela It’s time to end poverty!
