Target: Scholars will work in partners or individually to create a hero and hero's journey of their own devising, brainstorming with a partner or alone. Activator: Finish the plays from yesterday Work Session: Create your own hero Closing: Choice Ticket

Make your own HEROOOOO Today you will be making your own hero. YAYYY get excited because this is SUPER fun!!! Alex will pass out the handout You will invent your own hero -Your hero will go on an epic hero's journey story -You may present your hero's journey story in any of the following formats: -A short story (500 word minimum) -A comic - 8 FULL COLOR, hand-drawn panels OR 24 panels if done on a computer, minimum -Compose an "epic" poem about your hero - 40 lines minimum and must have a rhyme scheme -An animated video of your hero's journey, using GoAnimate, PowToon, or Photostory, 3 minute minimum -Record a song or rap telling your hero's story - 2 verses and a chorus minimum -??? Have your own idea? See me for approval! You may work alone or with a partner of your own choosing.
