Activator: Sit down SILENTLY Take HW out and make sure name is on it. Write HW in agenda Complete the Pre-test for Geometry

Today’s Objective(s): I will apply my understanding of ratios and rates So I can solve real-world problems using tables, tape diagrams, or calculating the unit rate by creating equivalent ratios. I will know I got it when I can accurately complete at least 8 real world problems from “Scoot” independently. 6.RP1,2,3

Language Objective By the end of the lesson, I will be able to use the language domains of reading and writing. I will read the real world ratio problem, and write the solution on my recording sheet. I will show my understanding by solving at least 8 ratio problems with 80% accuracy from Scoot independently. Academic Math Language Vocabulary: ratio, rate, unit rate, tables, tape diagrams, double number line.

Class AGENDA: Pre-test (12 minutes) Scoot (20 minutes)

How do you feel? topic.

HOMEWORK: Missing Work
