The Widow’s Peak! A widow's peak is a "v” shaped point that is created by the hair near the top of the human forehead. According to English folklore, a woman that has a widow's peak is destined to outlive her husband. Widow's peak is from the belief that hair growing to a point on the forehead is an omen of early widowhood, suggestive of the "peak" of a widow's hood.
