What agency/agencies passed this policy? What does this policy make illegal or propose to do? What are the penalties for breaking this law? Does this policy provide funding for different organizations and if so, who? In your own words, tell me about your policy.

Policy Identification and Explanation Addresses your policy’s exact name and number Says which agency/agencies passed this policy Clearly identifies what the policy makes illegal, or proposes to do Defines the penalties for breaking the law Explains the funding needed toward organizations to support the policy Complete and thorough explanation of policy Typically split into two parts: Part (paragraph?) 1: “Legal jargon” – the law or policy, identify the agencies involved Part (paragraph?) 2: Specifics – complete, thorough explanation of the logistics of the policy. What does it make illegal? Penalties? Funding? EXPLAIN WHAT LAW DOES
