Problem Statement How to coordinate and incorporate the CM guidance info from multiple sources (NEI, INPO, IAEA, NRC, DOE, NIRMA, NSSS, Business, OSHA, ANSI, EPRI). How do these inter-relate? Is there a hierarchy? Which are needed to do my job?

Contributors High number of guidance documents offered at different levels and coming from different perspectives It has not been business driven until recently CM more important since deregulation IT solutions to CM costly Changes in industry (EX.: INPO role – focus on key long-term factors) Changes in technology

Solution Use configuration management tools to implement the INPO processes using EPRI decision-making processes and process the docs using NIRMA guidance (make it easy to understand for our culture).
