The mission of the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship (SSES) is to promote the Stockholm Region as a leading innovative and entrepreneurial hot-spot. SSES strives to achieve this through scientific research, academic and practitioner education, and business creation activities pursued in close collaboration with member universities, the business community and public agencies.

Program Audience: Students (undergrad & postgrad) Practitioners Researchers Faculty: 20+ regular and adjunct faculty Courses offered: 14+ courses Researchers’ program Start-up seminar series

Exciting activities: Tandem Course Directors from different disciplines Start-up seminar series Live cases in cross disciplinary ’branding’ workshops New curriculum launched September 2004 - including integrated complementary activities Researchers’ program

Biggest challenge: Creation of courses, and use of teaching methods, that leverage the cross disciplinary environment while stimulating all participants.

New Initiatives: Increased focus on the development of environment specific courses required in the respective competence centres at SSES member schools. Improved use of multimedia capabilities – courses with participants contributing to a virtual classroom while physically based in multiple countries.
