Scene II Lady requests a meeting with her husband Encourages husband to be bright and happy at the banquet Covers up her own depression in trying to elevate her husband’s spirits
Scene III Murder Scene Banquo is killed Fleance gets away
Scene IV Banquet Macbeth is haunted by Banquo’s ghost Lady Macbeth attempts to quiet the alarm of the guests at Macbeth’s strange behavior Lady orders the guests to leave Macbeth vows to return to witches So far into BLOOD he cannot turn back
Scene V Hecate scolds the witches for dealing with Macbeth without her The next meeting with him will cause him to feel overconfident and create his own downfall
Scene VI Lennox ( a nobleman of Scotland) and a Lord discuss the murders of Duncan and Banquo An army is being formed in England to fight Macbeth
