What is conflict transformation? The process whereby conflict is resolved and used to build the capacity of groups to develop alliances that value equitable relationships, promote harmony, and effect systems change

Why is transforming conflict in diverse communities important? Differences in group identity History of hostile interaction and discrimination Misinformed stereotypes and perceptions

How can conflicts be transformed? Acknowledgement Reconciliation Envision and Strategize Sustain

What are some of the challenges in transforming conflict? It takes a lot of time and resources System change can seem overwhelming Language, when bringing together people from different linguistic backgrounds
