Outline for today Introduction to the Talent Management Toolkit An opportunity to discuss the key areas covered in the Train the Trainer workshop Space to review the TTT materials in detail with peers Your chance to deliver part of the session in a safe, supportive environment and receive feedback Time to plan your next steps to deliver the sessions 10.05 Run through the outline for the day, ensuring that all delegates are aware of the fact that they will have the opportunity to observe other people deliver and have the chance to deliver themselves.

We will be running through these today and they are designed to add to the electronic resources already available in the online toolkit. Take them through each of the ones for the day and introduce how they will be used. Further reading and resources

Expectations What do you hope to get out of today? 10.30 Hopes and fears Ask the delegates to consider their hopes and fears for the day and for delivering the sessions themselves on to individual post its. Individual feedback of these around the group and ask them also to introduce themselves, roles etc as part of this. – ask them to put them onto prepared flips. Today is about allaying the fears and building on the hopes. Potentially put a car park up there too. We will revisit these at the end.

What is Talent? Setting the scene Session 1 11.30 Welcome group back and signpost to rest of morning – we will run through the main sections of the day and link these clearly to the cue cards and lesson plan – it is up to the delegates to choose which they will use, we have tried to put as many different sources of support in as possible. Introduce the ice breaker (famous people with talent) and how the session will link to the day. Discuss possible ways to deliver the session including tips and ideas to share. Run though the first session and talk through the card. Allow the group time to discuss and ask questions.
