Types of Cells Prokaryote – has no nucleus or organelles - usually unicellular (1 cell) - bacteria & viruses Eukaryote – has a nucleus and organelles - usually multicellular (more than 1 cell) - plants & animals Both have a cell membrane & cytoplasm
