Some highlights Already started: Free-of-charge access to all data/publications New User Support function for the ESS Renewed Website Under research: New User Interface for data extraction Continues quality assessment and user feedback Interlinking projects within the ESS Publications more oriented to descriptive analysis

New User Interface Set up of the project Assessment of internal/external interfaces Prototyping based on best practices and well integrated with the tools/products of the Website Recommendation: To start with a default table view which can be customized interactively (mouse&menu) which can be saved under a URL for re-use with additional functionality for professional users

New User Interface Split Windows for simultaneous view of and interaction between the main functions Search, Browse, Table and Selection Users can also customize the user interface By keeping the functionality simple and recognizable predefined Key Tables can be integrated in the user interface as predefined queries
