Note: Why are trailers made? Reason #1: Trailers and Audiences Trailers help audiences understand what genre the film falls under Comedy, Action, Romance, Adventure etc… They give audiences just enough background knowledge to create a sense of interest and intrigue Trailers may be made specifically for one target audience, or try to reach as many target audiences at once
