This group project requires that you come up with an original idea of how to create the illusion of something that is about to crash, spill, fall, erupt, fly, or move in some way, but that motion has been frozen in time. This is a 3D project meaning that it should be interesting to view from all directions. You will provide your own materials. They can be found objects or objects you have created for this project. You will need to understand and create a dimensioned plan view and elevation view drawing. You will need to collaborate, be on time, and be responsible.
Form to be Turned in for Credit 6 times Form to be Turned in for Credit 6 times.(circle which number you are fulfilling) Individual Name/ members of the group Attach a sketch and brief description of one idea from each team member. This is done individually first, before joining the group. = 5 pts possible per person (3 for the drawing 2 for the description) As a group choose one idea or a combination of ideas with a 2 new working drawings (dimensioned plan view and elevation view) and description of the improvements you have made as a group to that idea. = 30 pts. Poss. Create a list of materials you will need to bring in or make and the individual’s name that is responsible for each item. =10 pts. Poss. I would like this project to be documented. Choose one team member to be in charge of the documentation (like to design board only digital, taking photos of the process) and to create the video or power point. =40 pts poss. Random checks on productivity. You will be required to show evidence of responsibility, progress, and collaboration. You will be docked points for negligence in bringing materials, being off task, arguing with team members, not being on time. = possible negative points of up to 20 pts. per check. The project will be graded based on creativity of idea (20), craftsmanship/ execution(20), 3D interest from all sides (20), challenge and risk taking (20), On time, well displayed, aesthetically pleasing (20)
