Observing Madison Weather

Tuesday Morning Barometric pressure of 30.14 in. Temperature was 51°F Dew point: 41°F 67% humidity 3 m.p.h. wind from ESE Cloudy 50% chance of precipitation Gloomy, cool morning The reason for the weather today, was the stationary front passing through just south of Wisconsin. This caused the precipitation.

Tuesday Evening Barometric pressure of 30.08 in. Temperature was 59°F Dew point at 47°F 64% humidity 1 m.p.h. winds blowing from the SE Cloudy 0% chance of precipitation Calm, moist air, cool The front moved southeast, therefore the precipitation stopped, but the air was still moist.

Wednesday Morning Barometric pressure of 30.21 in. Temperature was 50°F Dew point at 42°F 72% humidity 7 m.p.h. winds from NE Partly cloudy 0% chance of rain Nice morning A high pressure system moved in creating the fair weather. The closer white isobars on the surface map indicate that there is going to be some wind.

Wednesday Evening Barometric pressure of 30.12 in. Temperature was 58°F Dew point at 41°F 52% humidity 4 m.p.h. wind from ENE Sunny 0% chance of precipitation Nice day, a bit chilly when wind blew The isobars show that there will be some wind, however, less than earlier today.

Thursday Morning Barometric pressure of 30.11 in. Temperature was 61°F Dew point at 40°F 46% humidity Calm winds Sunny 0% chance of precipitation Nice and sunny, warm The high pressure system is moving through the area, creating fair weather and calm winds. The isobars are farther apart.

Thursday Evening Barometric pressure of 29.97 in. Temperature was 58°F Dew point at 46°F 66% humidity 1 m.p.h. winds blowing from SW Clear skies 0% chance of rain Nice, clear night, a bit chilly later in the evening As the high pressure system moves through, another high pressure is coming, causing temperatures to be lower, but fair weather and calm winds.

Friday Morning Barometric pressure of 29.91 in. Temperature was 69°F Dew point at 50°F 51% humidity 7 m.p.h. winds from WSW Partly cloudy 0% chance of precipitation Calm, warm day A high pressure system front is making its way into the area, bringing some wind, but no precipitation.

Friday Evening Barometric pressure of 29.83 in. Temperature was 66°F Dew point at 51°F 59% humidity Calm winds Partly cloudy 0% chance of precipitation Nice evening The same pressure system is still working its way into the area, but the winds have calmed.

Saturday Morning Barometric pressure of 30.01 in. Temperature was 55°F Dew point at 41°F 58% humidity 8 m.p.h. winds from ENE Cloudy 35% chance of precipitation Cool and damp A stationary front going from a high pressure system to a low pressure system is bringing precipitation and strong winds into the area.

Saturday Evening Barometric pressure of 29.89 in. Temperature was 52°F Dew point at 44°F 75% humidity 15 m.p.h. winds from E Cloudy 5% chance of precipitation Chilly Precipitation and winds are created by this enormous stationary front as the pressure system changes from high to low. The high pressure system passing through is causing the colder temperatures, but as the low pressure system passes through, the temperatures should rise.
