Analysis of CD151 and CD147 as potential prostate cancer biomarkers. Analysis of CD151 and CD147 as potential prostate cancer biomarkers. Microvesicles were isolated from PC-3 and RWPE-1 cells as indicated under “Experimental Procedures.” CD151 (A) and CD147 (B) were then detected in lysates (Lys) and microvesicles (Ves) by Western blot. Bands at the predicted molecular weight for CD151 (28 kDa) and CD147 (42 kDa) were observed. Two micrograms of protein per lane was loaded in A and 1.5 μg of protein per lane was loaded in B. The figure shows representative gels of 2–4 experiments.
