“Spiders and Their Webs” Lesson 27, Day 5

Question of the Day What riddles could you make up about spiders? Write a riddle about an insect or a spider.

Read Aloud What might be the purpose for reading a riddle you’ve already solved? Listen as I read the riddle aloud, then we’ll choral read it.

Read Aloud Who Am I? Sometimes I fly, But sometimes I crawl. I sometimes fly, but sometimes I crawl. People usually take note of me as I pass, but I don’t have any scent or taste. Phonics/Spelling: V/V Syllable Pattern Usually two vowels together stand for one sound. Sometimes, two vowels may stand for two sounds.
