Invest in Growth! The aim of the project was to strengthen the role of small and medium-sized businesses in neighboring regions, and stimulating them to attract venture capital investments for development projects, especially those projects that will strengthen economic and business cooperation between St. Petersburg and South- Eastern Finland. 15 Russian-finnish invest project prepared an Overview of the available investment resources and mechanisms to attract investments in small and medium-sized companies developed Manual for SMEs on investment management and opportunities for financing investment projects.

Intercluster Laboratory on Environmental Protection and Risks Assessment (ILEPRA) Create the basis for development the innovative Ecology Risks Assessment System for business projects adopted to the regional features; Development of the common approach for ecology risks assessment for business project in cross-border area; Development of the network between Russian and Finnish clusters for realization joint business project; Development of the GIS system of ecological status of the region and forecast short-and long-term environmental variability; Education and retraining of managers and experts working in the field related to the environment
