Team Project Feedback February 13, 2014

Conceptual model depicts the various elements how they are related. Then specify the variables to represent elements how they are related. hypothesize relationships

Conceptual model depicts the various elements. how they are related. introduction project scope: what you are and are not including – and why assumptions, set clear boundaries, inform your discussion (research implications and future research directions/next steps)

Data layers / attributes data dictionary – data layers, sources, attributes used, scale, etc. data limitations, begin to address data quality, missing data See examples from 2006 class projects here - http://courses.be.washington.edu/UDP/422/assignments.htm (scroll down to links on bottom of page)

Data Think to yourself – where do these tie into my conceptual model? Why are you using these data sets? What do they represent? how you are proceeding given that you don’t have all the information you may want? What are the limitations of this data set given the question I am addressing?

Methods Specify analysis tools (e.g. network analyst, spatial correlations) how you will use them – make sure you tie this into your conceptual model and project introduction. Why are you using x tools? What do these steps accomplish? Also ties into…. Why are you using these data sets? What do data (source and your ouput) represent?
