Malcolm, MLK, and Watts Read the Biographies of MLK and Malcolm X. Create a venn diagram or a 3-column t-chart that compares and contrasts the lives and work of MLK and Malcolm X. MLK Both X

Similar Deaths Malcolm X was assassinated in Manhattan on February 21, 1965. He was to speak to a crowd about moving toward a more peaceful solution to the race problem in America. He was shot at least 21 times by 3 Nation of Islam members.

Similar Deaths King was assassinated on April 4, 1968 while helping to organize a sanitation workers’ strike in Memphis, TN. Killed by a White Supremacist named James Earl Ray. After his death riots of frustration erupted in hundreds of U.S. cities
