Key Skills E-Portfolio ICT Level 1 Introduction to the Assignments Purpose 1:Purpose 1 G2 Assist with salon reception duties To assist in maintaining the reception area you have been asked to use a spreadsheet to record and monitor the stock flow of retail products on display. You will decide which products and how many of each will be displayed in the reception area. You will Find your prices from ICT and non-ICT sources. Then using the information you have input on your spreadsheet, further develop the spreadsheet to include the name of your salon and a brief outline of the products which need to be reordered. You should also report low levels of stock to the relevant person. Purpose 2 G1 Ensure your own activities reduce the risks to health and safety You are required to demonstrate your knowledge of the heath and safety legislation and workplace policies affecting your salon. In addition you need to show your knowledge of what risks to health and safety may exist in the salon. You will produce a draft document to identify the main health and safety hazards which may be found in the salon. Then further develop this into a suitable format to present to members of staff who work in the salon.
