Figure Drawing: Figures in Space

Correct Body Proportions: 1. The human body is about 7 head lengths tall. 2. It is 3 head widths wide at the shoulders. 3. It is 2 head widths wide at the hips. 4. The wrists are even with the thighs.

Guidelines: Use your pencil to draw 4 or more featureless human figures on a 12”x 18” sheet of white paper. Add clothing items to the figures. Draw a background to fill ALL the background space. Use at least 4 different value techniques to fill the figures and the background with black Sharpie. Outline EVERYTHING in black Sharpie marker.
