ADOT&PF / AKOSH PARTNERING Partnering agreement signed on November 22 2004 specifically addressing lowering Work Comp rates over a five year period.

PARTNERING GOALS Reduce ADOT/PF injuries and illnesses Improve Safety and Health Program Better utilize AKOSH resources Promote Active Employer Management Build relationship between departments Enhance Employee involvement

PARTNERING SPECIFICS During calendar year 2005 there were 47 Facility inspections conducted at ADOT/PF facilities around the state. The department set a goal to lower Work Comp costs by 5%. Newly developed Safety program discussed regularly with employees at safety meetings. Employee Concerns Program put in place to address safety issues.

RESULTS WCC costs to DOT/PF in calendar year 2004 $4,173,252.00 DECREASE of % 30.7
