Lab – Investigating Acceleration Question: How will velocity change as a marble rolls down a ramp and along the floor? Theory: Write about what we already know about velocity, and its relationship with acceleration, displacement, and time. What will you measure in this experiment? How will you calculate the velocity of your marble at the end of the ramp? How will you know the velocity at the beginning of the floor? What will be the initial and final velocities for each part of your experiment? What will velocity #1 and velocity #2 represent? How will you calculate the acceleration for each part of your experiment? Based on previous experiments and your knowledge, what should happen to the velocity of your object during each part of your experiment? The acceleration? {5 marks}  Hypothesis: Write “If…then…” statements to predict what will happen in your experiment. {2 marks}
