Pathology NSW has just announced that the Food Testing Laboratory is to be closed. The testing carried out by these laboratories is of the highest standard and they pride themselves on their accuracy, precision and quality. The government labs have been operative in NSW for over 120 years and have refined testing methods over that time. One of the more important elements to having a government laboratory is that there is no conflict of interest.
