New Town Planning You are to create a plan for a brand new, Green Field, settlement for 50 000 people. Use all you have learned about urban usage, transport, zones, problems, and sustainability. You should annotate your towns features to explain your decisions. i.e. “My school is near the family housing so children can walk to school, this will reduce congestion and pollution. To make it safe there is a footpath away from any roads.” Use the materials around the class, one side of coloured sugar paper is all you need, feel free to stick on any other colour, use any pens pencils etc. Good luck, we will evaluate them on Monday.
