Candy Observation lab Get into groups of two. Come get your supplies: ruler, scale, thermometer On a separate piece of paper, Write the names of those in your group. write these questions, and answer them: Define Observation: What are the two types of observations? What are 5 quantitative observations for the candy? What are 5 qualitative observations for the candy? Why is it important to have good observations when doing an experiment? What are the steps to the scientific method? What kind of questions come to your mind after making these observations? What is an experiment you could do on this candy to answer some of your questions?
