PASSAGE TO FREEDOM VOCABULARY

DECISION A choice that involves judgment. Picking which road I should take is a tough decision.

This diplomat is on the phone with someone from another country. One who is appointed to represent his or her government in its relations with other governments. This diplomat is on the phone with someone from another country.

GOVERNMENT The body or organization that manages a nation. The white house in Washington D.C. represents our government.

PERMISSION Necessary approval to do something. Please get permission before you go outside.

REFUGEES People who flee their homes in order to escape harm. The refugees tried to escape so they wouldn’t be caught.

SUPERIORS Those who have higher rank and more authority. You should not talk back to your superiors.

VISAS Documents that give people permission to travel to a specific country. Did he get his visa to visit the United States?
