The story of wolf and the Raven By: Alexandra Rud

When wolf was a child her mom always said “don’t leave any part of job undone!”. Wolf never really listened because it was just some silly thing. But then one day when wold was walking through the forest she came across an injured raven. “Help me! Help me!” Cried the raven. Wolf ran to the raven and asked what was wrong. “My wing has been injured!” Raven said. Wolf then searched around to find something to help repair ravens wing. Wolf then came across some sticks, vines, and leaves. “These will work!” Said wolf. Wolf then walked back over to Raven and started to wrap his wing so he would be able to fly.

“Ow. ” Cried the raven. “Quit moving. There, finished“ said wolf “Ow!” Cried the raven. “Quit moving. There, finished“ said wolf. Raven slowly flapped his wing while he was standing on the ground. “Amazing!” Exclaimed raven. Raven then took off into the sky, but a few seconds after Raven took off he came falling back down to the ground. Raven started crying in pain. Wolf went running up to Raven. “Look at this! You didn’t tie the vines tight enough and took shortcuts so it came undone! Now my wing will never be repaired!” Shouted Raven. “I’m so sorry!“ Wolf cried. “Just leave!” Yelled Raven. Wolf slowly started to walk away. As wolf was walking home she saw all of her friends and they all told wolf they had heard what had happened with Raven. They all said how it was wolf’s fault that Raven can’t fly anymore because wolf didn’t tie the vines tight enough and took shortcuts. Wolf ran home crying. “What’s the matter?” Asked wolfs mom as she got home. “Raven had an accident and I was trying to help him fly but I didn’t do the job properly and I took shortcuts.” Cried wolf. “Well now, you should have listened to what I said about doing a complete job. But don’t worry wolf, I had asked Raven and all of your friends to do this so you will do a complete job from now on.“ Chimed wolf’s mom. “You mean Raven will still be able to fly?” Asked wolf. “Yes dear.” Answered wolfs mom. From that day on wolf always remembered to do a complete job no matter what the task was.
